well I bought BIAB (mac version) a couple months ago and I must say first of all that I'm very, very impressed and use the program almost every day as a song-writing tool, but I can't help but envision how much more incredible and powerful the program could be if it included real instruments and styles from the classical music realm...from an orchestra. For example, to be able to put a string quartet on top of the cool acoustic guitars they already have would just be magical. or maybe a more extensive horn section...or woodwinds...bach styles, cello, harpsichord styles etc. As great as biab is, there is such a huge world of music that is strangely missing from its library of sounds. I mean I love country music and southern rock, and even some jazz, but I think PG music should start expanding the sounds and styles into bigger and better directions. Aside from classical music, I also think they could stand to have a "younger" feel to their music. I'm thinking along the lines of a Maroon 5 sound, with the fat-sounding synths teamed up with electric guitars. More Inspirational music would be great too
anyway, this has turned into more of a wish-list than anything. I guess with the slowness of the release of the 2011 mac version, I'm just getting a bit antsy to expand. And I think if biab users had access to as many orchestral instruments and styles as they do to country music styles, this program could not only sell for much more money, but would also be one of the most awesome things on the planet. C'mmon, PG music...I've got the money -- bring it on.

I'm not sure you will like my answer, but BIAB can already do that - just not with the Real Tracks. Use the miditracks and export them to Pro Tools or Logic and use a player like Goliath or for the strings Kontakt 4 or VSL (not very cheap, but you said you had the money) and it will sound just great...

Yea I suppose....well, at least I'll take your word for it....I've never been a big midi fan because of the mediocre sound quality (not to mention I'm a guitar person and don't play the piano at all...) But even so, there aren't too many authentic classical styles/sounds included with biab, unless I'm missing something.
