Hallo,
man liest überall, daß man RealTracks auf dem Mac nicht verwenden kann. Auf der anderen Seite wird auf der "Deutsche BiaB für Macintosh" Seite mit neuen Realtracks geworben.Habe ich da was nicht verstanden?

Hallo Mary,
Ich verwende RealTracks auf dem Mac, seitdem es sie für den Mac gibt. (Ich glaube seit Version 2009.) Alles läuft völlig problemlos. Allerdings benötigst du, bin mir nicht ganz sicher, einen Intel-Mac.

OK, ich hatte bisher die 12er Version (ich glaube 2008) und möchte jetzt updaten - müsste dann ja dabei sein.

Hallo Mary,
wenn PG den bisherigen Update-Rhythmus beibehält, sollte in den nächsten Tagen die 2011-Mac-Version herauskommen, und wenn du der englischen Sprache mächtig bist, könntest du die neue englischsprachige Version direkt bei PG in Kanada bestellen. Trotz Zollgebühren und nachzuzahlender Mehrwertsteuer (19 %) ist es i.d.R. „günstig“. Allerdings benötigt man für die Zahlung z.B. PayPal.
Ich habe mehrmals Updates über PG Kanada bestellt; alles verlief reibungslos innerhalb einer Woche.
Die RealTracks sind klanglich ein großer Gewinn, auch wenn man die Melodie der Soloinstrumente, soweit ich es sehe, nicht beeinflussen kann.
Dies als nachträgliche Information.

Man braucht nicht mehr unbedingt sich die Harddisc schicken zu lassen. Zumindest war es bei der neuen Windows Version so. Man kann es einfach als Download kaufen.
Ich kaufe immer direkt in Kanada. Habe sowohl die Mac als auch die Windows Version mit Realtracks. Auf dem Mac hört es sich genauso gut an, wie auf dem PC. Allerdings ist die Mac Version (2010er) nicht mit der 2010er Windows Version zu vergleichen. Die Windows Version ist doch um einiges besser. Wenn du allerdings keine andere Wahl hast, ist die Mac Version auch ok.
