I just purchased T-RackS 3 and was wondering if it works in BIAB? I'm not real sure about how the program even works, my husband told me to buy it. It is a mastering program and while if it works in BIAB I'm not real sure how we'll use it after we put the music track on the recorder and then add the vocals. We bought this program to master the entire song, vocals included.
I know I sound like a dummy but that's because I am! I think this is also a stand alone program and that would help with mastering the entire recording. At least that was the plan. Am I wrong? Can anyone help me with this?

I have it and it's really more suited for use in RB or another DAW in the Master section.

I use T-RackS extensively but not in BIAB. It does work as a stand alone package or as a VST.
Bobby Owsinski has written a book called "Mixing & Mastering with IK Multimedia T-RackS, The Official Guide." It is a great book for someone who needs a step-by-step guide for T-Racks. BTW, it's written in English, not technospeak.

Well THAT'S good to know. I did order that book. Maybe it will help me, because I really am a dummy! I'll hold off on further stupid questions till I get the book and read it! Thank you for the answers.

The problem with using it with Biab is Biab only has one midi output port but that may not matter if you are using all Real Tracks and Real Drums because those are audio files. In that case you can use T-Racks as a VST plug in. If however, you are using a combination of midi tracks with a midi synth with a few RT's then the synth is using up that one midi output port and you can't use another VST or DXi plugin.
To save yourself a lot of confusion you're much better off using a mastering plugin in Real Band. Assuming you have the current version of Biab you already have RB. Jump over to the RB forum and read all about it. It's a great program.
