Hi again, I'm really stumped with this problem! It's not really a BIAB problem as the instrument plays correctly there. I know quite a few guys work with Sonar...(I have the "Gas Version!".  ....But I was Dragging & Dropping a dozen tunes from BIAB11 into Sonar. Most were a mixture of Midi & Real Tracks. Until I copied one with C-Hag country style....all was well...but when I checked in Sonar...the MIDI BASS was playing a piano patch instead of Picked Electric Bass! Checked (the "few" things I know!) .....Sample rate...Buffers..... driver ......mode....WDM/KS. All OK.... But when I checked the midi track in Sonar......the patch was set for Acoustic Piano.....changed to Pick Bass. seemed successful...'soloed' the track....OK. So saved as.The next song has the same C-Hag style. Same problem! Midi Patch says Pick Bass....but plays as piano.I hope some of you guys can help.....bear in mind my "very limited" knowledge! Hi, I'm glad to say I managed to get the problem sorted out! I phoned my PC guru.....decribed the problem...."Did you check your midi setting....channels , patches Etc.?" DOH! How could I have forgotten the most obvious! Went though all the files again...made corrections....all are playing the way they should now. I was sent off to bed without any hot chocolate! But I know you guys would have picked up on the problem anyway.....so thanks for thinking about it! Joe G.

Good you have it sorted. In the future to prevent confusion I believe you have BIAB 2011 & not BIAB 11 which(BIAB11) was many years ago.

John, You are quite right! BIAB 2011....and new computer! Still have my "gas operated" Sonar....took a look at the latest version....a huge change (for me)...in the interface....but I'll get round to it soon....once I've got used to Real Tracks etc. ***I really was in a 'tizzy' last night! But thanks for your interest. I've no doubt I'll be back again soon....makes a change from being a lurker!  Joe G.
