I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the SM7b or Heil PR-40 mics on vocal recordings? I know they were originally meant for broadcasting but the SM7b has been used for vocals but I have not heard any recordings with the Heil PR-40. If you have a recording or have access to a mp3 file of a vocal recording using the Heil PR-40 please let me know. Or if you know of another cardioid mic that will sound better on vocals in the same price point let me know.
