Hello,
I've added a solo piece to my chorus but the volume is low. I went into Soloist/Edit Soloist Track/Adjust Level of Soloist Part. Any number I typed in didn't make a difference. Am I in the wrong place? Can you help?
While I have your attention, the Real Style I'm using has a steel guitar which I'd like to drop from the verses but use in the chorus. I know I can mute it when I want, when playing the song, but can I save the song with the steel guitar in some sections and not in others?

That level adjustment works for Midi. If you are using a RT, use the volume spinner for the part.
For the 2nd question, use F5 Bar Settings to mute and unmute where desired. If you don't want to use the mute, you can change the instrument to Silence.

Upper left center of the screen, beneath the Drums. Select by clicking on the instrument part and adjust the volume.

Thanks Rachael,
of course I had seen that, but thought it applied to the whole song. I even wondered why it seemed to change sometimes, not realising it changed as I went through the different instrument radio buttons. And that F5 is a magic button.
It's a lot more fun now.
