Just a note to everyone. I ordered the audiophile upgrade to 2011.5 last wednesday... Email said 1 day delivery for the hard drive. I hadn't received mine as of today so I sent an email. I got a bogus answer.. uggggg... anyways I went back to pgmusic live help and found out that they are behind on the audiophile disks.. no shipment till at least next week... This would have been a non-issue if I had been told up front..

Just a point of information to all.

Hi Ed,

PG Music Inc. generally has exceptional customer service. If you ordered courier shipping and didn't get quick delivery, contact them again and ask for a refund on the difference in the shipping portion.

The 15 bucks is really not the issue. The statement that i'd receive it in a day and It still hasn't been shipped is more the issue. I'm sure you know the frustration of expecting something and it doesn't come.

I generally have had great luck with customer service at PG... This note was more of a caveat to anyone ordering the audiophile version and expecting it pronto.

I got the same email, but I didn't stress about it when it didn't show up the next day, because I've been through the process of ordering the audiophile version seveal times before. If this is your first Audiophile disk, you can be excused for not knowing, but the Audiophile drives have pretty much always lagged a week or two behind the non-audiophile drives in shipping. I think the reason is that since they require a much larger drive, they are ordered in special and it takes the vedor awhile to get them delivered to PG Music. PG Music does ship them express once they actually arrive and have the software burned on them though.

File that information away in your memory banks for when you order the 2012 version because I'mm pretty sure the same thing will happen then.

I'm somewhat dismayed to learn this.... I have the added delay of shipment to UK. Thanks Ed, for bringing this to light, I am disappointed that PG music did not mention the delay in the order.

What about us Aussies then? I must admit I had started to listen out for the courier but I will relax now. And yes, there were previous delays on Audiophile and even a worrying note saying that some had been incorrectly programmed. Thankfully, mine was not.

There is not a great deal new for a jazzer in 2011.5, except for those great sounding organ RealTracks; although I am hoping some of the base lines have been tidied up. Still, the special offer on an Audiophile on hard drive makes the whole thing less painful. Nonetheless, $400 a year to keep up-to-date does make you think twice before getting out the credit card.

Thanks all for the reply. Just a note. I received my drive yesterday. Since i was told next week I can only assume I was moved up in the queue because of my complaint. Nice little drive btw.... This is much more compact than my previous 2 drives.

My guess is your assumption is wrong. You and I ordered the same day, and got our units delivered on the same day, and I didn't complain. They probably just gave you a worst case scenario when you called. Complaints aren't going to get you jumped ahead of anyone else who ordered ahead of you.
