I tried to burn 3 BIAB songs to a CD, but only one played back. I burned them without finalizing, then finalized at the end of the process. Did I do something wrong?

*What progam did you use to burn the CD?
*What did you do, step-by-step to burn the CD?
You are correct in waiting until all songs you want are burned before finalizing the CD.

I burned it with BIAB using the "Audio" menu "Burn audio CD". When the box popped up with the "Burn audio CD" button, I clicked that and elected to not finalize. I finalized after I burned 3 songs.
If burning more that on song on a CD is possible, I may have clicked a wrong button by mistake.
I'll just try it again if it is possible. If it is, someone let me know!

Tried the burning again. All the tracks got written, and will play on my computer. But only the first track plays on my DVD/CD player.
When I burned the last track, I choose "Burn and finalize".
I'll try other CD players. I want to use a CD to play back tracks on gigs, so I'll have to make sure BIAB burned CD's play on some kind of player. I don't want to take my computer to gigs.
Any help is appreciated!

Hi Jazzman, What I do is to save all my songs as WAV files in a single directory. Then, when I have what I want, I use CD Burner XP (freeware) to burn them to CD. Yes, many of us find it better to find and use a third party CD burning software of some kind, most are much more full-featured, allowing things to be done that the little "miniburn.exe" included with BiaB can't.

I use Nero for everyting related to discs. Copying, images, saving, burning movies... just my preference.

Yes Eddie, Nero is probably the program of choice for burning CDs with Windows.
I personally (because I use Roland/Cakewalk Sonar DAW) use "Pyro Audio Creator".
It to is packed with tools and features that go far and beyond just burning CDs.
(just my 2 cents.)
