Hi, I am using BIAB 2011 under Win7 SP1. I imported a .wav file song into BIAB to get the key and the chords to practice. It won't let me change the tempo. I have tried several ways to change the tempo but it always reverts back to the tempo that it was when converted. To get around this, I print the chords from BIAB and then I play the .wav file in Audacity because i can manipulate the tempo. There must be an easier way... TIA tim

I went to RealBand, imported a wav file played it..
Double clicked the Tempo box,
Make sure both boxes are checked
hit ok and it will convert to your selected tempo.
Save the wav, add some additonal modifier to the name...Sam...Sam2
This works, just tried .
then import into BIAB.
Tried same steps in BIAB, didnt seem to work.

I assume you used the ACW? If so, when you "sent" the chords to Biab, you should have had Biab ask you if you wanted to keep the tempo map that it deciphered. If the chord changes are not close to the original tempo in the ACW, Biab uses it's own to line them up.
When I use the ACW, I will look up the tempo (if available) on a sheet music site like musicnotes.com prior to importing into the ACW. You can also pre-set the audio tempo in Biab prior to import as well.
