Rat Race..© pikes productions 2011 Here's an idea that has been around a while and i just recorded it today lyrics are made up on spot and vox were two quick takes backbone of track is again realband guits,drums,sax,hammond and bass the rest is sampletank...thanks for listening Ade. http://soundcloud.com/jakeyh/rat-race

You need to edit and take the </a> off your URL.

A catchy song, Jakey. Some nice changes in there, and yes, redolent of Steely Dan. Was it based on a BIAB style?
I think the reverb could be pulled back some on the vocal and it would sit better in the mix compared to the other instruments.
A good song, well recorded, thanks for the listen!
