I just got a new laptop. I've been using ptw for years with my soundblaster sound card. I cant seem to get the asio drivers from my lexicon lambda to work at all with ptw.apparently the drivers cant be used w/ptw?? never had this problem before...any suggestions?...thanks in advance:).......Jeff

What do you mean they don't work at all? Do they show up in the drivers list? Do they not record/playback?

There is an error message saying the drivers might work but are untested with ptw.Then it crashes everytime I try to go to the drivers setup window. I bagged trying to use that interface because neither biab or ptw will work with the drivers. Im thinking the solution is to get a new interface that works well with windows 7. I also have an edirol ua-25. it works great with ptw as far as the dxi synths but there is a problem with ground noise while recording audio (most likely a hardware problem I'
m sure)......can you reccomend a good aoudio/midi interface that works well with windows 7, pg music programs and sonar x-1?

Many like M-Audio Fast Track, do you have 32 bit or 64 bit windows7?

I have windows 7 64 ..Ive been messing around a bit with downloading and installing new drivers for lexicon lambda....got the drivers to work for playing the dxi synths however every time I try to launch the v.u. meters to try a test for the audio recording the whole thing locks up & I get the message "Acess violation at address 004c01F2 in module 'ptw.exe' .....There is also an error starting asio buffer message coming up from time to time perhaps there are better drivers ? or do you think that the hardware is just outmoded?....btw thanks for all of your advice:) Im not really sure what Im doing yet

Have you tried ASIO4All drivers?
I do remember some having problems with it and others getting it to work. Wish one of them would chime in!

Havent tried asio for all...Worth a try though...anyone out there using a lexicon lambda with windows 7??....thanks in advance:)
