Hi folks, I'm newbie. I'm trying to edit a pattern from scratch but I'm having problems editing (by hand, not recording), the bass patterns. I expected a piano-roll window, or at least the option to edit in a piano-roll, but I have to deal with that strange score-way to make my patterns. I learned (not without hard work) how to enter notes, but if you miss your shot, you're lost, as CTRL+Z doesn't seem to work and DEL key (as the piano-roll window allowed), doesn't seem to work neither. The same problem when you select a "region" of notes and cannot erase them. The only way I found, is deleting one-by-one right-clicking with the mouse over one specific note and selecting the appropiate option....a pain. ...help, please  Thx

Try holding down the delete key while you click with the mouse.

There is a note-roll, which is one of the notation modes. It is similar to a piano roll.
In addition, you can get an event list by pressing the event list button on the notation (# button)

Wow, thanks Peter, event list edit is a function that I hadn't realized existed in Style Edit mode. For the bit of editing I've ever done, has been on the notes themselves, which can be time consuming. Event list editing is my favourite form of style editing for my arranger keyboards, great to finally realize BIAB has it too. You've made my morning. Quote:
