Hello folks,
As well as having biab ultra pak I also have jammer pro. I want to be able to import the midi files that I make in jammer into biab and tweak them further there, add realtracks and realdrums etc.
When I make the midi file in jammer I them import it into biab but everything seems to be on the melody part, nothing atall on the other instrument parts in biab. I have used the option in jammer to put the midi files in independnat tracks but after saving I can see just one midi file and the then problem with it all being on the melody track in biab 2011.5 (latest update)
I have also tried a blank style in biab and creating realtracks realdrums but it won't work, the instrument parts still stay a yellow colour.
Any ideas appreciated?

They get put on the melody track. Press the Green SEQ button and it'll open the menu and you'll see the midi tracks. What you do is then rt click on the regular BIAB instruments and add RDs & RTs. In that menu on the melody track you can then delete the instruments you don't need.

To add a little more to Silvertone's reply ...
The Melody and Soloist tracks in BIAB are designed to accept imported midi files. The Piano / Bass / Strings, etc., are designed for BIAB to generate it's accompaniment patterns on. These created accompaniment patterns can then be exported as midi if midi styles were used.
What I do when trying to build from a midi file is to load the file in Realband and add Realtracks and Realdrums there. Because track generation is a little slower in RB, sometimes I load the melody of the midi into BIAB and play around with what RTs and RDs might work. This helps to narrow the field. Then I move to RB and play around with what I've selected.
