Hallo,
ich besitze die Biab Version 11.0 Win als Ultrapak-Version (Festplatte).
Bei einem Workshop am vergangenen Wochenende i. Berlin benutze der Referent W. Wierzyk die Version 11.5 ohne Realtracks (aus organisat. Gründen). In dieser Situation hatte ich meine Festplatte am PC der Einrichtung angeschlossen und es gelang nicht, die Realtracks unter 11.5 zu öffnen.
Frage: Lag das an den Rechnern der Einrichtung? Muss ich für die Zukunft nicht nur das Basisprogramm updaten sondern immer auch die Version mit Realtracks kaufen?
Die Realdrums sind unkritisch und funktionieren. Es geht um die Realtracks.

Herr Wierzyk sollte diese Frage eigentlich beantworten können. RealTracks funktionieren mit BB 2011 ebenso wie mit BB 2011.5. Es gibt keinen Anlass, RealTracks zu aktualisieren, es sei denn es werden explizit auf den PG Music Support Seiten Updates angeboten. Diese Updates haben üblicherweise keine Kompatibilitätsgründe, sondern eher Qualitätsgründe - weniger hektische Basslinien oder weiß der Kuckuck.
RealTracks müssen natürlich vom Programm gefunden werden - dafür gibt es Einstellungsoptionen. Aus den geposteten Angaben lässt sich nicht erkennen, weshalb da etwas nicht geklappt hat.

vielen Dank für die Antwort.
Herr Wierzyk hat auf der Schulung einen hochkompetenten Eindruck gemacht und in der vorgegebenen Zeit eine super Schulung durchgeführt. Falls ich mich missverständlich ausgedrückt habe, bitte ich um Nachsicht.
Es ist aber mit der Technik immer so eine Sache, gerade in fremden Räumen. Die oben formulierte Frage konnte unter diesen Umständen dort nicht geklärt werden(schon aus Zeitgründen). Wir haben es an mehreren Rechnern ausprobiert und hatten keinen Erfolg. Es hätte ja auch sein können, dass PGMusic unterschiedliche Komprimierungsverfahren verwendet bzw. diese in den Versionen verändert.
Da mein Englisch mäßig ist, habe ich mich einfach mal getraut zu fragen.
