Hi, lots of nice new features so I couldn't resist. I just have an install question. I will be installing BIAB and RB for the first time on a newer computer running Windows 7. My previous Audiophile USB version was 2009 and was installed on two computers running on the XP platform. Now my question is will I be able to just do a clean new install of 2012 on the Windows 7 computer without having the 2009 version installed there? I had problems installing the 2009 version onto Windows 7, so I just aborted it and worked BIAB on my XP computers. Thanks in advance.

Running 2012 on Windows 7 64-bit with no problems. So are many others on the forums. If you have any problems, just let us know and we'll try to help you through it.
Normally the problems are not with the program itself, but with the particular kind of sound device you have - that usually comes down to drivers. More and more manufacturers have released better Windows 7 drivers now, but some still give problems.

Clean install yes.
If it were not the case some of us would have to start on big floppies with all nasal midi.
I'd probably have 30 updates to do ...well..maybe.
Pg music plays no games with updates like that.
And where else is the President, Head Developer/Programmer/Analyst jumping in to answer questions on the software and the sales? Nowhere! Nooooobody else.
Cue the music!

Thanks guys, clean install was my worry, good to know that I don't have to install over a previous version. Also very good to know it's working well for everyone on Windows 7. I've got my drivers up to date, been running a MOTU Traveler and it gives a little pause noise from time to time. MOTU have been known to cater more to Mac than PC but I get by with the interface OK for the most part. Unless I missed it in features there is still no Rewire mode right? That would have been nice to run BIAB rewired to Cubase 6. Maybe soon though.
