I installed Amplitude that came with my BIAB 2012 upgrade on to my C drive on the music PC. I'm running BIAB from the external hard drive ....E drive. I have it registered and showing in RealBand (where I could use it), but I would like to use it in Sonar...where I do most of my work...will the registration allow this? Again my Sonar files are on an external drive....how can I get Sonar to recognse Amplitude....or search for it?  Happy Holidays to All My Friends across the water!!  Regards, Joe G.

Sonar should find it "automagically" if you rescan VSTs (run the Cakewalk plug in manager from the utilities menu and have it scan for new plug ins or simply point directly to the VST dll - where ever that is on your PC)

Remember that the Amplitube Free and Band In A Box FX are the only ones likely to fully be there. Some of 'em, you have to get add-ons, either in packages or a la carte. And I do find it frustrating that you don't know from the menus which ones are missing something. I wish IK would gray out choices that don't have all the components. (And, yes, I've mentioned this to IK on the forums at KVR.)
