Recently retired and firing up the BB Win now that I played a little with back in the day.
I have BB 2005.
I would like to add some musical features (soloists, melodist and the like) to BB 2005 but I don't know what I have.
I looked for all my disks and installed what I have but for example in Soloist some of the items say they are not there. It is all playing just fine for what I have.
So how do I do an inventory to find out what I have and what I can add?
Right now I only plan to add to BB 2005. BB2005 is familiar and does what I need.
Hey I just plink a little using the PC Keyboard and add a little tune to the included stuff so I am not interested in any more whiz bang features. Hard enough to figure out what I have now.
I have a Roland PC-200 MKII tied in thru a M-Audio USB / MIDI interface all working but I am not a keyboard player, just like to "fiddle" on the Roland. It's more than I can figure out anyway.

Well the program has changed so much since 2005 and to be honest if it was me and I could spare the cash I would upgrade to 2012 as the price is so good and won't be repeated until next christmas.
For $159 you can have an all singing dancing band in a box on a hard drive that will give you many hours of enjoyment and all the new fab realtracks.
You'll probably find that buying a few things separately for biab will add up to well over that anyways, so the special that is to end soon is the way to go!

Welcome to the forum.
There is a menu command to show "What Add-ons Do I Have" in the Opt. Menu, but I'm reluctant to say it was in version 2005 since that's a very long time ago in terms of this program's development. I'm not sure there would even be any updates for such an older version. If you bought from PG Music, the Sales Dept. should know what you bought, and they can help you with an upgrade. Yes, keep Seeker's point in mind and do it by tomorrow if you decide to go for the current version (highly recommended).
