I just started running BIAB 2012 audiophile edition on a Mac, as I've done with some previous Windows versions. Unfortunately I'm getting some quiet-but-audible clicks and pops during playback, running BIAB in Windows XP via Parallels 7, on a Mac with 6 GB RAM running Lion 10.7, with a Mackie 1620i as the audio interface. I had the same clicks-and-pops issue a few years ago with an earlier version of Parallels, and found Parallels' tech support useless in resolving it. But I seem to recall that for some reason, the combo of BIAB Win 11 and Parallels 6 was running OK. In any case, since I also own Fusion 3, I went ahead and tried BIAB 12 via Fusion -- no problems. Question: Has anybody else tried BIAB win 2012 on a Mac with Parallels 7?

I have not, but you might examine the settings in the Opt., Preferences, RealTracks dialog. There are some designed for slower machines. Even if your Mac is fast, the added load of running the Windows emulator may be slowing things down.

I program Band-in-a-Box 2012 for Windows on a Mac PowerBook (running Windows 7/64 under bootcamp). And there were no problems like that. Haven't tried Parallels though.
