I have recently started using the Drag n Drop function to import Realtracks into Cubase. All seems to work great with one exception, all imported tracks are in Stereo, I would like some to be Mono.
I have looked at the Drag n Drop video tutorial, in the manual and searched this forum but can't find how to import a Realtrack into Cubase as a Mono wave file i.e. Bass Guitar Sax etc.
I did find in the 'Render To Audio File' options page a Stereo file checkbox but I think this only applies to DXi rendering.
Can this be done in BIAB 2012 please and if so how ?

I don't know. But doesn't Cubase let you change a track to mono? SONAR does this with one click, which is why I never worried about it.

Uncheck this box, you may be surprised. None of my RT's drag and drop to stereo 
OK, let me double check this... 
Opps, my bad - they are indeed stereo wav files. But I do recall taht RT drag and drop would not work if a DXi was not avaiable. We allways questioned this, but that was the way it was.

Many thanks for your help.
I have been playing around with this today, and when I drag a Bass for example into Cubase although it is a stereo waveform it loads into one track so effectively plays as a mono track giving me the option to Pan the track which was my main concern.
In future I'll just ignore the fact that its displaying as a stereo wave file and treat it as mono.
