Pour John-luke (qui semble ne pas souhaiter de réponse sous forme de message "privé"). Vous avez peut-être raison, mais je constate chaque jour que, si l'on cherche un renseignement sur un point TRES précis, il est vraiment très difficile de trouver l'endroit adéquat où il se trouve dans la documentation. En voici un exemple concret : je souhaiterais savoir s'il est possible d'augmenter le volume de sonorité d'UNE SEULE des pistes qui composent le morceau que je viens de terminer, en l'occurrence, les cordes. Cela fait maintenant deux jours que je parcours la documentation mais : aucun chapitre ou paragraphe de la "Table des matières" ne parle de cela!!! Alors, vais-je devoir lire les 480 pages une à une pour m'apercevoir peut-être, in fine, que NON, CE N'EST PAS POSSIBLE... Avouez que c'est plutôt dérangeant, non?

BIAB est un logiciel très riche en fonctionalités, et il faut du temps (beaucoup) pour tout découvrir et être à l'aise avec.
Pas besoin de lire les 480 pages, il faut utiliser l'aide sélective du logiciel. Dans la page principale de BIAB, il y a un menu Aide.
Dans Aide/Sommaire, il y a les chapitres 'Basiques' pour démarrer. Il y a là un chapitre 'Changer les volumes'.
Il y aussi l'aide par Index : on tape le mot voulu et on trouve tous les sujets s'y rapportant.

Pour répondre à la question sur le volume, utilise le mixer de Biab. Et si tu ne le trouves pas dans les icônes, c'est que ta version est un peu trop ancienne, mets-là vite à jour pour bénéficier de cette amélioration essentielle (à mon avis).

En sélectionnant l'instrument (piste) voulu et en réglant le petit bouton de volume qui se trouve juste en dessous (sous Batt / Guit), ça devrait fonctionner. Le mixer n'est qu'une présentation différente et ne justifie pas (à mon avis) de changer de version.

Le mixer ne justifie pas à lui tout seul un changement de version, c'est sans doute vrai, mais il est autrement plus pratique que les possibilités précédentes ; il regroupe en une seule fenêtre des commandes très fréquemment utilisées, réglables en ayant sous les yeux les positions de toutes les pistes... Pour régler le pan par exemple ça me parait important.
J'ai débuté (il y a peu) avec une version sans mixer, et j'étais vraiment surpris de cette lacune...

L'interface c'est un bon sujet.
Il y a aussi des fonctionalités basiques qui sont absentes, par exemple des possibilités réelles d'édition MIDI, ou l'accès réel à tous les 16 canaux, la gestion des SysEx, des tas de choses que l'on trouve partout sur la majorité des softs de musique, etc, etc. Comme le fait remarquer justement Carolan, le mixer vient d'arriver en 2012...D'un autre côté BIAB est unique en son genre !Je vous invite à faire remonter vos souhaits dans le Wishlist forum.
