Hiya BIAB family
Still working on my midi's here and Running them through my yamaha mm6...so i'm in playback mode Right now
seeing how my Repairs are sounding through the keyboard after i've doctored them up in BIAB
Most are sounding very good....but i ran into a snag today...
one of the midi's are not playing the drums well on the keyboard...it sounds great in biab playback
but on the yamaha you can barely hear it ...like its way back in the distance..
things i've found so far...the original midi sounds this way as well...so it doesn't matter that i've messed with it.. so original midi sounds great in BIAB on drums....but not on my mm6
i've tried saving it in a different format...changing the drum kits in the sequence section.
so i'm stumped again..
can someone share a possible remedy for this drum problem on this midi...i'm sure i'm going to run into another like this i bet...i have a hundred and forty to go through...lol

I figured it out...the style that was choosen for the midi in BIAB....was a jazz brush style don't know why it played a snare in BIAB and sounded like a real kit....but it played the brushes on my keyboard...to wear it sounded like i had no drums
i changed style's and wound up with some drums on yamaha keyboard...yipee...lol

I'd bet you had RealDrums substituting for the midi drums. Was the Drum radio button (track) green? If it was you were hearing audio not midi through your PC.
Under Prefs|RealDrums there's an option to substitute RDs for midi. Check those settings too if you want to change the behavior.
