Realband 2012 Build 5
Song goes 87 bars. Three tracks of audio that start at bar 1 and go to bar 85. I want to add a volume swell at bar 83. I open the piano roll and it won't go past bar 74 on any of the 3 audio tracks. I opened the event list and it shows audio, for each track, ending at bars 65,71, and 41, even though audio plays from bar 1 to bar 85. These are all realtracks that were generated in 8 bar segments. I'm stumped...Bobby

Not sure about the Piano Roll issue, but a couple of other ways ...
1. The Mixer panel. You can record mixer moves. So put the mixer in record mode and do your swell by moving the volume fader up/down as you desire.
2. Highlight the section of audio you want to work with. RT click, select Gain change. In the dialog select fade in. You can set the starting volume percentage and ending volume percentage.
Someone else will help with the Piano Roll method I hope.

Thanks Mitch. I forgot about the record mixer moves. The gain change workaround would be destructive and I rather not go that route.
I would still like to know why my piano roll won't go past bar 74. Had an idea on the way to work and will try tonight or tomorrow. Open the event list for each track and insert an event at bar 87. I don't know if the event list and piano roll are tied together. Sounds like it might work. I'll let you know. Thanks...Bobby

at the top of the tracks or chord window, there's that little button (located beside the GENERATE button) where you declare how many bars are in the song. What number appears on that button? Is it a smaller number than the 87 bars that you actually recorded by any chance?

Thanks for the suggestion Pat, correct number of bars are in the box. I think it was just a glitch within the event list. I opened the event list for each track and inserted an event at bar 87, now the piano roll will scroll to the end of the song on each track. Success! Thanks, maybe this is something to remember if it comes up again...Bobby
