I have just edited a song on my PC, copied it into the BB2Go folder, generated the .mp4 version, and downloaded it on my iPad.
When I go to Open this new song (File=>Open) I see a song called "Untitled", with a style "_Boogie1", settings of 140-C-1-16-3 and no chords on the screen, and this remains even after I've chosen my new song.
When I try to play this unknown song, I get the error message:
"Band-in-A-Box
The operation couldn't be completed. (OSStatus error 1954115647.)"
This behaviour survives a cold-boot of the iPad.

PS I'm not quite sure how I did this, but I eventually succeeded in getting my new song Opened, but what I hear is not what I hear on my PC. I have the melody disabled in this version of the song, and use the _JWALTZG style.
What is played on the iPad is only the drums and the (MIDI) melody - no bass or guitar.
I appreciate that this isn't an expensive product, but I don't expect to be having to do the beta-testing.
