Came upon this cool chart - does anyone know what the green color signifies?

Oh, I think I see now, all instruments are playing versus Red when some are muted. Also great tag ending... so it can be done.

Green is for anticipations, called "pushes" in the program. That is what the ^ character does.
Red is for shots, holds, and rests. That's what the various numbers of periods do.
Notice in the chart, that when a chord has both periods and carets that the red takes prescedence.

I've just tried this out, and found that the melody is 4 bars ahead of the accompaniment. I don't think it's just my setup, because the lyrics are out of step too - the "dance" of "Missed the Saturday dance..." should line up with the descending sequence C6 D Eb Em7, and the "out" of "without you" should line up with the four bars of walking bass.
Odd, because the arrangement of the backing is a brilliant demonstration of the power of BIAB!

This happens a lot with downloaded files. Someone took the original version of this and did some copy/paste or added some repeats and a tag. That messes up the original melody. It really helps to fix the arrangement first before entering the melody, saves all kinds of grief later. I don't know the exact best way to fix it except to unfold it to one long song and go and edit the melody track then recreate the repeats and stuff.
