Bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich das nun richtig ausdrücke.
Durch die vorgegebenen Songeinstellungen krieg ich ständig ein Durcheinander. Ich hätte es gern so, dass mir von Anfang an ein leeres Blatt zur Verfügung steht, auf dem ich den Song so eingebe, wie er mir in dem Sinn kommt, ohne irgendwelche Strukturen zu beachten.
Nachteil, ich muss Strophen kopieren, aber das stört mich erheblich weniger als ständig Chaos aufs Bild zu bekommen, wenn ich mir nur mal überlege, dass ich doch lieber einen Takt mehr möchte.
Wiederholungen von ausgewählten Teilen sollten schon möglich sein.
Kann ich das so einstellen? Diese voreingestellten Loops brauche ich gar nicht. Die machen es nur kompliziert für mich.

BiaB Handbuch steht allesDrin!
Song Einstellungen ohne wiederholungen soweit ich weiß maximal 200 Tacktelang und Fertig!

Einfache Antwort für eine einfache Frage:
Rechts neben dem Style stehen Tonart, bpm, Beginn und Ende des Chorus und die Anzahl der Wiederholungen.
Auf die Anzahl der Wiederholungen mit der linken Maustaste klicken und die entsprechende Anzahl, in Deinem Fall "1", auswählen.
Die Anzahl der maximalen Takte ist 256.
(Ich weiß zwar nicht genau warum; aber vielleicht haben die bei Band-in-a-Box am Anfang sehr stark Rücksicht nehmen müssen auf Speicherplatzbedarf. Damals kostete ein MB Speicher über 1000 DM und kein Rechner hatte damals die Kapazität, 1 MB überhaupt zu adressieren. Daher musste wahrscheinlich 1 Byte für den Taktzähler herhalten und die 8 Bits eines Bytes haben halt 256 Kombinationsmöglichkeiten...)

255 wurde vom Programm angenommen. Danke für die Antworten. Ich suchte eigentlich mehr nach einer default Einstellung. Die scheint es wohl nicht zu geben. Wenn ich sie nicht übersehen habe...

Ich habe in den Preferences (<Ctrl><E>) keinen Eintrag gefunden. Es muss also in den Song-Settings (Edit, Settings (for This Song); <CTRL><N>) für jedes Lied neu eingegeben werden -- oder eben in den Eingabefeldern in der Hauptmaske.

Speicher dir doch einfach einen eigenen Song unter dem Namen 'Vorlage' ab. Den generierst du mit 256 Takten und einer Wiederholung und lädst ihn bei Bedarf. It's that easy ...  Grüße Alex
