Am working on "Minha Saudade" and am looking for a bossa style with a very syncopated bass style, one that nearly sounds like to bass player is playing «against» the rhythm.
Any suggestions?

I suggest opening up BIAB and go to the style picker. Filter on bossa, then load each song demo to find something that may be what you're looking for. Looks like there's about 60 styles. Shouldn't take too long to demo them ?

Rachael, do you just use the midi bass track in that style ? Only RT is drums... Have you found a Real Bass Track that works in the BOSSA2 style ?

Most of the times, I use my KB as a synth for acoustic bass. Bossa2 covers a nice tempo range and the bass track is not overwhelming.
Every once in a while, I'll use RTs. For Bossa songs, I use the (A:Simple) of Bass, Acoustic, Bossa 085 or 140. The 110, unfortunately does not have a simple. Tempo swapping works nicely for the range of my songs.
