Well I was proud of myself for almost finishing my second song (without vocals of course). However, there was one thing I had forgotten. I forgot to get rid of the metronome count-in click at the beginning of the song.  Now I don't know how to get rid of it after I mixed all the tracks and "finished" (mastered) "master" the song. I know where to go to set the metronome for recording/playback (>>>Options >>>Preferences >>9-Metronome) but the thing is that I now what to get rid of it because I don't need it anymore but there it is in the "final" mix. I think this is a "cut" issue but I've tried a few things and it doesn't "cut." Frankly, I don't want to ruin the tracks by experimenting so I thought I'd just ask.

Well with all the chatter here in the forum, Audacity comes to mind and will edit and remove the intro clicks and allow you to adjust the start of your wave. Then it will create the mp3 for you to upload. If you can't figure out quickly how to do this in RB, then I rest my case on the merits of RB as a DAW.

@jazzamandan, I'd rather know how to do it in RB for future use. I didn't think much of it as I needed it but now that I've finished with recording the instruments I don't know how to get rid of it as it's part of the drum track now. I thought that if I went into the metronome settings I could get rid of it but I can't.

If it's just on the count-in, select the track and open the AUDIO EDIT window. You should then be able to highlight and cut the section containing the clicks.

I always try to save different versions of a song as I am working on it so that I can go back and redo or delete tracks or effects after its mixed down and I hear something I don't like.
Just use the File>Save As each time you close and include the time or date in the title for easy reference or maybe the type of mod you did.
Has solved some similar problems several times.
If its a Realdrum track you could just try to regenerate that track without the metronome (if it's playing all the way through the song), delete the other track and fix the mix that way.
If it's a midi drum track maybe you can edit out the metronome in the Piano Roll window?
Not sure as have never done it.
