Am I missing something? I can't seem to enter the chord CMaj7#11 into BIAB. I've tried different versions, Cmaj7b5, Cmaj7+4. I even tried to use the chord builder. It seems the only available #11 voicings are for dominant chords.

Hi there,
I have BIAB for PC, and after a quick glance, it looks like the the #11 are dominant based.
Have you tried Gmaj7/C or Bm/C ? In theory, they should give a reasonably close sound to what you are after seeing that both chords are the upper notes of Cmaj7#11 and having a C in the bass should help solidify the sound.

Thanks for the tip Noel, I'll try that when I get home tonight.
Just surprises me, no CMaj7#11? Pretty common sound in jazz.

For PC you have to enter Cmaj9+11 or Cmaj13+11. I imagine it's the same for Mac. Later, Ray
