OP kerkenat Enthusiast Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 80 Minnesota, USA	Here is something I do not understand. I am making a song, and I am using a style that is primarily real-tracks. I just love the sound of it, but when I look at the notation for the tracks with real-instruments, they are empty. This must be because it is a very advanced computer function to convert audio to midi. Right? Anyway, what I am wondering, is if it possible/advisable to modify the style so that the instruments for which I require the notation for can be changed to midi (same instruments, but just not real-instruments)? I mean, when I finish the song, I will have actual musicians performing it, not generated real tracks, so while I love the sound of the real-tracks, in the end, humans need to perform the song. kelso Journeyman Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 479	Hi Kerkenat - Yes - difficult to convert audio to midi. You can find threads here on the topic, or Google audio-to-midi. But never a satisfying experience. But, for some real tracks the midi is available in BIAB! You can tell if the part name at the top of the screen (like bass, piano, guitar, strings) is underlined.
