How ironic . . . I played a Oldies Party today and here was my playlist in no particular order

So your set had no particular place in time....

Wow, Danny! What a wonderful playlist! You musta played several hours with that list. I think some of those were 60s but I won't tell anyone.

"Thanks for the memories!" -- Bob Hope

A 2 hour gig turning into 2 1/2 hours, and still did not quite get through the entire list.

That Jukebox feature will have you on your toes my friend.

That's a great set list, Danny.

You must have great vocal range! None of the 3 Platters songs are easy to sing. "My Prayer" is difficult.

"You Must Know I Love You"

I don't know this song. Who was the artist?

Pretty much everything in your set list was a monster. I'm curious, were there a couple that got the biggest reaction?

Not sure the artist but it is an old bouncy 50's tune. If you like I can send you the BIAB file?

Here's a few that haven't been mentioned already. There's lots of great music from that era that I like.

Buddy Holly - Peggy Sue

Johnny Cash - Folsom Prison Blues and I Walk The Line

The Everly Brothers - Bye Bye Love and Wake Up Little Susie

Bobby Darin - Splish Splash

The Coasters - Charlie Brown

"Rock and roll's been going down hill ever since Buddy Holly died." quote from the movie American Graffiti.

Dion and the Belmonts, Runaround Sue and The Wanderer. God I love those recordings.
Oops, I think that was the 60s.
I'll get back to you on this.

Danny, can you tell me what style you used for 'When you Dance'? I know the Mambo was used a lot in the '50's. I really can't distinguish between one Latin beat and another. BTW I also live in Louisiana. I'm 6 or 7 miles from the small town of Sugartown.
