Hi, for the most part i am still new to BIAB. I am using 2008.5 (265), and with the midi styles i am able to add a sustained ending. I would like to know, using realtrack styles, how to add a sustained ending. For example i have a simple song done and BIAB plays it with realtracks....intro, main song2x, then ending. But, at the ending there is this drum roll and I really just wanted a sustained ending like i have heard on other peoples jam tracks they make. Any help would be appreciated

Welcome to the forum. There are several ways but let's make sure you know some basics.
If you type three periods after a chord name, it causes that chord to Hold. Do this on the last chord of your song. Also make sure the song's length is long enough for the chord to decay. This could be the second number on that group of three, where the first is the Bar to repeat to, and the middle number is the ending measure of the song. For many (most?) songs you will use a Tag. In the Tag Settings (the icon marked S) you can select a four-bar ending.
That's a fast overview. Tell us what you've tried and what works or doesn't work. If I mentioned something you don't understand, write back, or use the Help menu.

Thank you for our response, but i am not really sure how to explain other than this way. if you go to my dropbox link { https://www.dropbox.com/sh/fs77h0zvb3g904a/piL3MarH5v }, there you will see an mp3 done with real tracks and the sgu file i am working on. You will notice the mp3 has no drum roll at the end and sustains. My .sgu file has the drum roll and no sustain. I tried the sustaining like i do with the midi files, but it did not work. If posting my dropbox link here was wrong please excuse me and it will not happen again.

In the PM response, I had suggested changing bar 40 to C... and changing the tag ending to 43. Did that work?

OK, it's possible your version dates from before that was introduced. Held endings is something that was greatly improved a year or so ago, and also somewhat a few years back.
Also, have you updated your RealTracks with all appropriate patches?

well my real style's are there but they were listed in one section -- styles--with real tracks (27). Now the (27) is (0), but the styles are listed and with the same others, just layed out now the others these real tracks I believe are #94.

I recommend you call PG Music Support. They can tell you what is supposed to be where.
Those of us on the forum are going to have a difficult time helping you since your version is several years old, and things have changed greatly since then.
