That's a funny meter.

I'm sure it will be quite clear at the top of this forum if and when a new version is released. If past practice is followed, there will be zero news until that point.

I know, Matt. I'm just trying to fan the flames of forum interest for the new version. There hasn't been much chatter, and that's unusual before a release.

I plan to continue the countown to bump the impatience to the top of the forum each day until 2012.5 is shipping.

Never took you for a bump and grinder . Do the kids know?

In anticipation, this is where I start to worry if my XP-SP3 32 byte machine stops working with
BIAB/RB. Don't wanna go Win7/64 just yet

But fan the fans, Pat!

I much prefer having only one release at Christmas each year anyway. Otherwise, the whole BB experience starts to become too expensive.

Following the GFC there is much less money available to the average person, whether the product they are buying is for professional or leisure use. I am a marketing manager for a non-music related software development company and we are certainly having to modify our marketing and prices to take account of this situation.

Yeah, I would like a few more jazz styles at a wider range of tempos, but I can make do with what I have and I am pretty happy with the way BB operates and sounds - either midi or RealTracks. But I am happy to buy myself a Chrismas present each year.

Dear Mom and Dad,

I've been camped out in the parking lot at PGMusic for a week now, waiting for the release of version 2012.5. ( Do either of you know how long a person can wear the same underwear without dying? If you know, please keep the answer to yourself, as I will probably be alarmed by it. )

Anyway, please send money. I don't need it, but letters to Mom and Dad are required to include a request for money according to ISO standard 27756.553.012

Even though I'm camped out, meals haven't been a problem... (at least, not for the mosquitoes...)

More later

HEY!
I resemble that!

update: as of 11:47 am ET on Friday the 15th, the product page still shows version 2012
;(

but hey.. WEEKENDS are a good time for lots of buying and downloading... and... IT'S THE WEEKEND!
(hint, hint)

and its FATHER'S DAY weekend too! What if the kids ask what all of us dads want for father's day? Oh how easy that question would be to answer if only we could go to the PGMusic main page and say "I want THIS, right now, today. Or I'll assume you don't love me, and we just can't have that on Father's day now can we? Hmm?"

I'm enjoying these replies.

John, I hope each increment in your post does NOT equal a day. But if it does, somebody else will have to write the song entitled "Death By Underpants"

Lawtunes, I hope your motion is not denied.

Sometimes the mid year upgrade doesn't appear until July, I think it was like this last year.

And as far as I know if you're lucky enough to be a beta tester, you get to check out all the goodies well in advince and !!!

You dont have to pay for final release,

Anyone want a beta tester Job...:)
