One feature that would greatly enhance BIAB would be an audio compression utility. Most commerical recording use this feature to enhance the audio for listening. Compression utilites are found in most high end audio mixing applactions.

Have you experimented with the PG Dynamics plug-in? I've found this to be both an excellent compressor as well as expander plugin.

This is a perfect example of what I was referring to in my response to the idea of offering stripped-vs-full feature set versions. I had no idea that such functionality existed in the program, and I will now try it out and most likely use it. Kinda like Christmas morning all year long.

Download some third party compressors. There are tons for purchase and even for free. I own Sonar, MC5, and Reaper, and most of the plug ins from those work in RB, and BiaB.

I found the PG Dynamic Plug under audio
I used the reatime dx settings. Which works well.
I have Sonar and I use the plug in that are there also
The Realtime Plug in Feature also has a means of adjusting
the audio level which helps in adjusting the realtracks levels.

I used Sonar Pefect space plug in on various BIAB tracks and it really helps on some realtracks. Brings them to life.
