Hello Whomever,
This post comes under the heading of "Customer Suggestions." I'm a singer/songwriter who arranges and performs in what I will call the "Unplugged Acoustic Style." It would be terrific if the folks at PG Music would create some new soloists sets which feature acoustic guitars instead of electric guitars.
This way those of us who prefer the sound of acoustic guitars, over that of electric guitars, would be able to create our intros, fills and outros using acoustic guitars instead of other instruments. I suppose what I have in mind would be similar to the kind of acoustic guitar leads played by the guitarists who accompanied artists such as, Gordon Lightfoot or Jim Croce back in the 1970's Pop-Folk era.
There are no such options offered in Band in a Box at this time and it would be great if they were. I hope that there are others who will second my suggestion so that we can avail ourselves of such soloists sets in the very near future.

I would like some Acoustic Guitar leads too, but more of a Tommy Emmanuel or Doyle Dykes type. With tab or lead sheet.

Yes....would be a great asset...seems there is little going on in pro-active track production this year....maybe the demand is the issue...after all...why invest in something that has insufficient demand? My experience is that not enough people know about this program and how good it really is.

To add to my previous comment...I would guess that the legal climate and hostility from the music "industry" might play a part. Imagine how THEY might view this software. Just taking a shot here.

I'd also love to see some lead acoustic guitar. Nothing terribly fast or tricky, just tasteful pentatonic soloing, slides, hammer ons, suspensions, scales and runs over the chordal notes - that sort of thing.
It would also be nice to have some spanish style nylon guitar riffs - minor and dorian scales. I could think of lots of places where it would fit in quite nicely.
