Hey, I just purchased the physical version of BIAB 2011.5, and am running it on OS X Lion.
I'm having problems getting the RealTracks to work, as I've reinstalled the entire program 3 times now.
Whenever I generate RealTracks for any instrument other than drums, there is absolutely no sound. I don't get any error notifications, and the only lead I have is that the physical RealTracks folders all have "no permission" signs on them. I've set the permission for every folder in there to Read + Write, and still I can't even open the folders. I've repaired permissions, etc. with no luck. I've moved the RealTracks folder to a custom location and selected the custom location in Band in a Box itself, and nothing works. I'm really desperate to get this thing working and so far I've found no one with the same issue.

Did you install band in a box real tracks from another user account? Also be sure check "enable real tracks" in real tracks preferences

No, I installed everything from the same Admin account (the only account on my computer) Real tracks are definitely enabled.
The RealDrums work fine, it's just whenever Real bass and piano are generated, there is absolutely no sound.

I just posted the same issue. Missing parts for some but not all of the new Real tracks.

There are likely yellow messages in the top right of the screen describing that the program cannot find your Raeltracks folder. It is normally in the Realtracks folder of the /applications/band-in-a-box folder. If it is in a different place, then you need to point to it in prefs-realtracks.
If you need more info, go to realtracks picker, and enabl show realtracks that are na. This will then list the realtracks that cannot be found, and tell you why they cannot be found ( either there is no folder in the realtracks folder, or no st2 file in the soloists folder.
Most likely cause is that you just installed the update, and didn't install it on top of your previous realtracks, so you are missing all of the older realtracks.

If you are missing files, you would need to reinstall them, or move them to the correct locations if you've put them somewhere else.
First thing is to see what, if anything, is missing. Maybe it's 5 realtracks missing, or maybe all 1,000 are missing.
