Compared to version 2012 (released December 2012), there are 101 more amazing RealTracks for Jazz, Rock-Pop & Country and 15 new features for version 2012.5. We've added 176 additional Simple Variations RealTracks, new RealCharts for existing bass RealTracks, and many more including MIDI SuperTracks. MIDI SuperTracks are a great sounding option for those who would like to use MIDI in their arrangement. Instead of MIDI styles based on C7 chord patterns that get repeated over every chord, the MIDI SuperTracks are based on actual playing by studio musicians. When you play the SuperTracks using your MIDI synth, or favorite VST plug-ins you get an incredibly realistic sound using MIDI. Very impressive, I dusted off the ketron and the new midi tracks are cool.. Being able to edit them is great.
I'd love to see a way to take OPs note for note and have real tracks based on his playing. I am sure he would have loved that.

Congratulations, Peter & staff!
it was worth waiting a few days longer for the new 2012.5 version - the new RTs and the new MIDI Super Track feature are fantastic!!!
I especially appreciate these MIDI Super Tracks; they are much more versatile than the RTs, and they load instantaniously. I experimented a bit and found out that it works fine to even substitute for example the SynthPad patch with a violin ensemble patch. It sounds great. (Where the SynthPad doesn't fit well; although in itself the new SynthPad sound is great!)
To sum it up: the MIDI Super Tracks give so much life again to the good old MIDI, that there is the same quality in sound to the RTs now. (I'm using the Native Instruments Kontakt 5 synth.)
And one advantage of the MIDI Super Tracks: they don't consume so much of hard disc space!
So - for future versions of biab - I hope to see more of these great Super Tracks!
I thought: What in the world could you come up with in the new version? Biab is such an excellent and complex program already. But again you found a new and(!) important feature - fantastic!

Thanks for another great mid-term update. I love the new and thorough support of Xdim and Xdim7 and cudos to your idea with these Midi SuperTracks - much livelier than the earlier midi styles.

After getting more into it I still can say: the new RTs and the new MIDI Super Tracks are really great!
But:
It should be 101 new RTs. In the Style Picker window under "New Real Tracks[All]" only 85 are listed.
"RT162 [Dixieland-Med Rythm] even lists none ([])
Where are the missing 16 new RTs?
Also, under "New Super Tracks" only 42 styles are listed.
Where are the missing 4 styles. (It should be 46 Super Tracks at all).
And again:
Under "RealTracks Sets 137-154 [All]" only 86 styles are listed.
It should be 101 styles, too. Where are the others. Is it only a problem with the Style Picker - or are they really missing?

I'm sorry - there was a mistake I made. Of course RTs are RTs and styles are styles. I mixed this up when listening to the new RTs by listening to the style demos of the new RT sets.
All of the RTs seem to be in place, also the number of MIDI Super Tracks.
The only problem seems to be that there is no demo song for the set 162 RT Dixieland-Med Rythm.

Hi,
I think I originally bought the EverythingPak on DVD years ago and have downloaded updates since then - is it just the $99 download I need to be up to date with 2012.5? Or is it $149 now?

As I understand it, either will get you up to date. What you are paying for with the $149 price is to have everything shipped to you on an external USB hard drive. The difference in price is a good deal for what you get, and you always have your own backup.

Hopefully some the existing stuff has been fixed to make the results smoother rather than just more and more gigas of RTs :-)

There have always been fixes in every version, plus occasional free updates.

Odd - maybe I am going senile .... I can't find the option to upgrade from 2012 UltraPlusPak to the 2012.5 version, not what the cost is.
Can anyone help this fool here? LOL

You want the 2012.5 PlusPak for $129. This has all the addons you need for the UltraPlusPak (the new Realtracks and Midi SuperTracks).

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track.
