I just installed 2012.5 over my 2012. Both are everything paks. One thing that helped me was to go into the C:\bb file and scroll the file list. That's how I found the midi super track demos. I'm going to check the styles list for the style Dr. Gannon mentions in another post (That style, M_UPLIFT.STY, is not in my styles list and I just did a rebuild and search). In the past, New files would be added and old files would still be there such as some styles that I had made or purchased. This time I had to reinstall all of those files. This was no big deal, but I'm glad I found out that they were missing now rather than at a point that I wanted to use one. Also, I purchased Forte dxi some time ago. I got a reminder that my 30 day trial would soon be up. What? I opened it up in RB and there were no numbers in the registration blocks. I entered them again, closed the pgm, and reopened it--still no registration numbers. Never had these problems in the past. Anyone else have these or similar issues?

If you are running Windows 7, for Forte DXi you might want to turn off UAC (User Access Control), then launch RealBand/BIAB and enter your registration number, then put UAC back to whatever it was set for.

RE: Forte dxi ..I turned off UAC and entered the reg numbers again both in biab and rb, exited, and started both pgms. The numbers do not show in the blocks, but I don't know if that means anything either.
As to the style "M_UPLIFT.STY", It is on the ext 2012.5 pg music hd, but didn't get transferred to my C drive. I chose install option #2 leaving real drums and real tracks on the ext hd. I would have thought all the midi styles would have been installed on the C: drive. To further confuse matters, I loaded a song that I had done prior to upgrading and was able to change a reg. midi track to a super midi track. This was for the bass. No super midi files who in the Style Picker nor are any on my C: drive. Shouldn't all the styles be on the main list? Otherwise, how could you access them all? It says in Help that you can access the tracks by pushing the "super" button which shows as being next to the real tracks button. Well, I don't have any "super" button on my screen. Maybe they'll let us know in the future or have more updates.
