I have enter a bunch of note based lyrics into a melody track. I realized as I got close to completing the entry of the lyrics, I forgot about a one bar fill after the 1st verse and I need to shift all of the note based lyrics one bar to the right at that point. I can't find anything about this in help for realband and don't seem to find an option for it except to start over.
Thanks, Todd
Todd

Better but still a little stuck. found out that I can edit the event list. That's all good but I still have to edit each lyric at bars 20 - 129 to change the bar number. It might be just as easy to start over with the lyrics? I would really like to just insert an event at the extra bar so as to shift the remaining events one bar forward

Todd, you seem to be working very hard to do something with note-based lyrics. I have to admit I have no idea what you are doing and why? Can you show us an example of this effort? - maybe a picture, video or upload a file. I am trying to understand why you just can't read the lyrics from a printed page in the notes.

Check out my suggestion to your post in BIAB. Use Lyrics, time shift lyrics.

I use note-based lyrics all the time for Karaoke files. So I've used the time shift occasionally when My lyrics are off a measure. 120 ticks = i beat. so even if you have to shift them a beat at a time,it's only four operations.

If you highlight all the Lyrics which you want to move then open the CUT" function Panel, check the box "Use Data Filter", select option OK, then in the Data Filter Panel, uncheck every box but leave Lyrics checked. PASTE the Lyrics where necessary to fill the gap in the Lyrics.
This should solve your problem.

Hey Dan,
Yeah, I may be trying way to hard to get this done. I have used binders full of chord/lyric tabs for years before BIAB. I am trying to use the features of BIAB to the fullest extent which to me is having the song play in realband with the lyrics scrolling along with the song. I indeed have tried showing the lyrics in the memo or the lyric document window but it seems that more often than not, the song is too long and I would have to scroll down in the window to see the remaining lyrics. Not practical during live performance. I believe that I have finally conquered the not based lyrics by using one note per bar and simply typing in the lyrics. I can touch type and since the bars will advance to the next note with the enter key, I can pretty quickly type in a songs worth of lyrics. Now I have two options: I can view the lyrics in the notation window scrolling along as the song plays or I can bring up the Big Lyrics windows where the chords and lyrics are also displayed.
