I got a brief answer from BIAB saying that I'd have to
buy a $300 (approximately) program to switch from my new
Windows Everything BIAB to the Mac version of BIAB.
My question is -- has anyone done this and am is this
question in the wrong section of the BIAB forums or should
I be asking this question in the Mac forum?

You could use Bootcamp on your Mac to instal Windows (XP2 or later) and run your current version of Biab that way.

I know nothing about the Mac version of BIAB but there have been a few threads in the Mac forum that seem to indicate that the PC version of the program has some features that are not available on the Mac version. For this reason, it would be good to double-check that the features you use most are available on BIAB/Mac.

Like Noel, I don't know about the Mac version but as TommyC mentioned, there is at least one way to run the PC version of BIAB on a Mac. I'm pretty sure there is another way also. I think you should be asking on the BIAB for Mac forum how best to do this.
FYI, Peter Gannon himself uses a Mac and runs the PC version for his own testing, or so he has mentioned a few times here over the years.
Another way to say all this is, there is no need to buy two copies of BIAB for the two platforms.
