I want to use a background soloist Real Track on the verse (e.g. 426 Banjo) and change to a soloist Real Track on the chorus (e.g. Electric Guitar.) Whenever I try this, the soloist guitar comes in sporadically during the verse. I tried restoring factory defaults, starting over again with a new file, and un-installing and re-installing the program. I use BB 2012.5 Build 357 Everything Pak. Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

JK, How are you creating your soloist? Are you using the yellow "Soloist" button on the menu?  Regards, Noel

There are a few ways to do this.
Likely the best is to use one of the tracks (like the strings track) as the track that has both of these instruments. Using the F5 key, you can change RealTracks at any bar/chorus, so you can change the RealTracks as you want.
An alternative is to use 2 tracks... one for banjo, the other for guitar. Then use the F5 key to MUTE tracks at certain bars.
Yet another option, is to create a Medley soloist, which changes every chorus (in your case). That would keep changing between guitar and banjo. You can make medleys to change every N bars as well, for example every 4 bars, or every part marker.

Nope. I just go to bar settings (F5) and set the Real Tracks on the Soloist voice and the track generates the accompaniment.

JK, From what I read, it take it that you are using the "Soloist" track for your instruments. If that's so, before you generate the song, try "Killing" the existing solo and see if that makes a difference.  Regards, Noel

Thanks Noel, I'll try that.
I believe I fixed the problem. My technique works with all other Real Tracks I tried except #1350. I believe the problem is in the #1350 Real Track.
