I have a two bar ending (selected in menu) in a song but the last chord plays and suddenly chops off.
I have looked in manual but could not find anything specific.
Is there a way to have an ending "glide" to a smooth stop at end of a song?

There are several.
First, try putting a Hold on that last chord, using three dots after it (ex. Dm7...)
The real trick, though, is to make your song longer than the fadeout for the hold should be. Sometimes this means adding measures to the song, or more likely, to the length of the tag. Also in the Tag Settings, there is a checkbox to use 4-bar endings if you want the program to do the ending for you. This is actually a two-bar ending but with two more bars to let it 'ring out'.
If you need the precise commands to do some of these, let us know. I'm not in front of a BIAB computer now and don't want to guess.
Also, it would help us if you can tell us more. Are you using RealTracks, MIDI, or both? Do all the tracks cut off?

If you could give more detail, it would help us help you.
If it is a RealTrack, the instrument button for that track would normally be colored Green.
What did you enter for the chord at the end of the song?
Are you using a Tag?

Where is the "instrument" button?
Also, if I make last chord, say, G... (with the three dots for a "Hold") my program keeps locking up and I have to exit and reopen BIAB.
Not using tags.

What version of BIAB is yours? Have you downloaded and installed appropriate updates? If so, you should call PG Music support about the crashing.
By "instrument button" I mean the radio button used to select each track.
If you are not using tags, make the number for "bar at end of chorus" larger than the end of the song. If you are using repeats, you will want to learn about Tag.
