IS there any way to make a real track hold a note at the end of a bar? I tried stretching the wav file with no luck.Is this what hold and shots are for?If so how do I implament them? Thanks

I see where you can do the holds, but how do you do them?I'm confused about how to achieve the results I want. For example I have a Tenor Sax doing a solo throughout the song and his last note is at Bar 32 in the third chorus. How can I make it hold till the end of the song at the 34th bar? Is this even possible?

Assuming the RT you want supports Holds? In the RealTrack Picker, your instrument should have a number in the Hold column.
At the chord you wish to hold, open the Chord Settings (Alt F5). Change the rest type to Hold Chord and choose which instrument to hold (or exclude from hold). That should do it.

In addition to what Rachael says, you will probably need to have the sax on any track EXCEPT the Soloist or Melody track. As far as I'm aware, and I stand to be corrected on this, shots and holds only apply to Bass, Drums, Piano, Guitar and Strings.
If the Realtrack you're using does not support holds, then it will not be possible to hold the note for two bars.

You can always try to cut and paste. Can you find a place in any measure where the note you want is held the way you want? If so, open the audio edit window, copy the note and paste it where you want it.
Make sure to freeze the track before you do this.
Come to think of it, this kind of thing can be done better in Real Band.
