I'm glad experimenting with the new RT's and new features with the new 2013 version.
The new sounds are great!
But I came up with a problem as I opened some of my songs which have tracks with another synth (for the thru part):
The songs loads - but not the synth for the thru part. The error message shows up saying:
"Invalid track number. Unable to load synth preset to track 8."
Seems for me that this is only a problem with another synth of the thru part, not for other parts. But I'm not quite sure on that. For sure is that this the case for my favorite two synths: Kontakt 5 and Pianoteq 4 (try this one for exellent piano sounds!!! Tip: You should really download the free trial version!!!)
After the songs have loaded the other tracks, it is possible to assign my favorite synth patch again to the thru part. But all its specific settings I had stored along with the song are lost! I would have to arrange them anew for lots of songs.
Please help me with a fix in another new build! Thanks!

Hi Ulrich,
Our intention is to not load patches for the Thru part, because if you wanted to use your thru piano patch all the time, you'd need to save that piano patch with every song you might want to use.
I'll have a look at that feature to make sure its working like its supposed to, which is to allow you to set a thru custom VST/DXi patch, but not save it, and not load it with songs.

thanks for your quick reply!
But - I'm working since many years now in this way that I save assigned instruments for the thru part along with the song.
Not the same instrument for all songs, but a specific thru instrument for each song.
I don't understand why this shouldn't be possible with the new 2013 version. That would be a big step back for me. And honestly - I would return to version 2012.5 and stay with it in the future if this new behaviour of the new version wouldn't be changed again.

I might have to add a global setting "Save/Load custom Thru synths with each song", that would default to false, but you could turn it on, and then your songs should work. I will look into that, might take a week.

I investested a lot of work in arranging all the instruments for the hundreds of my songs. This includes figuring out which instrument in the thru part sounds best along with the others in the style.
And for live playing I need to access this stored information with only one click - only by loading the whole song.
Thanks for fixing that!

Songs with synth in the thru part load properly again with the new 363 build.
