Hi, Don.
Nicely done, but there are a few things you might want to have another look at.
The balance between the instruments and the vocals is way off - the backing instruments need to be brought up in volume.
There's also a lot of "punchiness" to the vocal - some of the vocals are really loud, and others are much more quiet. It would be nice if the vocals were more even. A compressor on the vocals will take care of a lot. Because you've got so many quiet and loud spots, you'll end up killing almost all the dynamic range, but I think you'll find it a lot nicer.
If you've Audacity, try loading your song in and setting the compressor to:
Threshold: -48db Noise Floor: - 45db Ratio: 8:1 Attack Time: 0.2 secs Decay Time: 1.0 secs
[x] Make-up gain for 0db after compressing [x] Compress based on Peaks
And you'll get a good idea what compression can do for you. You'll obviously get better results by applying the results onto to the vocals to level them out, and then mixing them with the backing tracks.
Finally, there are a few places where you drop some of "L" and "N" sounds, and you might want to re-take those. The phrase "All in all" is particularly problematic.
Thanks for posting - I hope some of this helps!

Hi David, Thanks for listening and for your thoughtful comments. I wasn't exactly sure on the balance between the instruments and the vocals. It's good to have someone else's opinion. I did compress the vox, but I'll try it in Audacity as time permits. It may be better to simply re-sing it. (for about the 50th time Take Care, Don S. P.S. I listened to your "O Come Emmanuel" and enjoyed it very much.

Other Don, I assume that you realize that the melody is borrowed from Oh Solo Mio (Its Now Or Never - EP). If you have verified it to be in the Public Domain or otherwise have rights then you are fine.
As for your rendition, my immediate impression was that you need a higher key. At least two semitones. Later, it seemed like you made vocal adjustments in your expression and it all fit together better. Can't explain that.
I too, noticed several "word whiskers" mentioned by David so I won't belabor the point.
Thanks for the listen, my friend.

Thanks for listening Don.
It is public domain. "O Solo Mio" was copyrighted in 1898 and this song was written in 1921.
This song has a very wide vocal range. It is recorded in Eb which seems a bit low on the verse but hits my higher limit on the chorus. I originally did it in F which was fine for the verse but going past the ceiling on the chorus.
