Hey folks, there is one of those "No Brainer" sales going on over on the Mixbus site where you can grab Mixbus for $40 instead of $149 until Jan 2. http://www.harrisonconsoles.com/mixbus/website/purchase.htmlIf you are happy with what you are using, then this will not convert ya. It's underlying DAW, Ardour, is no where near as easy to use or as flexible as PT, Reaper, Cubase, Mixcraft, etc. It does not automatically adjust loop timing, it only has 8 Mixbus "busses", NO MIDI, and it's editing is sluggish...but the SOUND of Mixbus is fantastic! And if you use Linux, it is really a no-brainer because IMHO it is the best Audio DAW that Linux has, and it has been, I would say, 80% rock solid on AVLinux6, which is ton's better than Ardour alone, and way better than any other DAW I have used on the Linux platform. Mixbus includes Windows, Mac, and Linux versions for one price also, so you can play across ALL Anyhoo, just spreading the word, it is a GREAT deal!
