I'm looking for a vocal reverb much like it is on Zombies "Time of the season"!
Is that achievable with RB effects?

Hi Stratocaster.
That takes me back a few years - what a great track!
That track was recorded way before digital reverbs were available so you're looking for an analog style effect. It doesn't sound to me like a tape or bucket-brigade delay, so it's possibly a plate reverb.
Try using the PG REVERB plugin and select the VOCAL PLATE pre-set. Increase the DECAY setting until you get the effect you want.

Will try your suggestions and regarding zombies, I couldn't agree more :-) Fantastic how dynamic these old scratchy 45's can sound! I'm searching for the secrets behind to implement in my RB recordings! I can't seem to find any vocal plate in the PG reverb FX? (I have Biab 2011)

Hi Strat.
If you've got the PG REVERB plugin for RealBand the VOCAL PLATE settings are as follows -
Pre Delay - 10
Decay - Start at 500 and increase as necessary.
LF Rollof - 50
HF Rollof - 11k
Density - 100
Mix - as required
Output - as required.
I'd be interested to know if you get anywhere near the sound you're after. Good luck!

It's very much what I sought after, now I have to be careful not to add too much effecs,PG dynamics etc. Less is more, going from headphones to speakers and vice versa is so revealing :-)
