I was sitting there writing a song and watching Jimmy Kimmel with the sound muted, … and then…

this skinny little blonde comes on at the end of the show and sings this song:

So, … should I get out more? ... or lock my doors?!

I can't understand one word, she is all vowels to me. The els never were my problem it was the vow that went before vow els.

The ex wife's lawyer did make a good buck though. I refused to use one. I might be stupid but not that dumb.

The lawyer, "I want to talk to your lawyer."
Me:
"You are."
Click.

After 10 calls or so he starts to talk down to me. Click.

They kept my kids hid for 3 years. In plain sight. Stay 500 feet away. One christmas I rented a big sign board and put up "Hey Jack and Johnny, I love you, Merry Christmas" And got it put on the other side of the street on the neighbours lawn. Paid that guy $200 bucks for a week. It got shot up one night, 12 gauge. Cops took the new husbands guns away for safe keeping. Couldn't prove it was his. No CSI.

Oh back to the skinny girl. Looks like the new normal. I read that 300 years ago, all our ancestors were covered in tattoos done with charcoal water and other stuff. EVERYONE. I don't think my family wore bones in their noses, but they survived the clan fighting in Scotland. Just think Scottish clans, not THE clan eh?

As to the hearing loss, Ian understood. I miss him. He had the real hoser view of 'merican polytics. In auger ehshun an all eh? I see more and more the minorities who don't get power are getting dangerous. Here it's starting to look like the kooks run the joint. 30 people can hold up a pipeline that would mean lots of jobs and cash, because the speckled newt of Ging Rich is endangered and NO way that pipe is going near that pond. AND WE LET THEM. I think we are nuts. In the old days the cops would have busted their skulls with sticks. Now we call for a coffee truck and give them blankets because (whine here) it's cold protesting. Sure. Go home to mommy.

Ok I'm off on a tangent, hijacked thread and all. Time to watch the news and get upset at the idiots all around. Is bad in the bathroom too, there's a mirror.

I’d never heard of Gin Wigmore until the Jimmy Kimmel show, but I had wondered who the chick with the weird voice was on the Heineken commercial. Turns out they’re the same person.

Quote:

Virginia "Gin" Claire Wigmore is a New Zealand singer-songwriter. She released her first album, Holy Smoke, in 2009, and her second, Gravel and Wine, in 2011.

I’ve watched a bunch of her videos on YouTube tonight. It’s a pretty eclectic mix of genre’s and that strange voice of hers isn’t just unique, … it’s also addicting in a good way. (Although I can’t understand much of she says when talks with that New Zealand accent! LOL.)

A couple of songs:
