Hello
OPen, RB, turn the first track to MIDI, select the instrument and the channel.
I go to piano roll and insert a couple of notes, hit play, I hear nothing...
Open the score windows, hit play I still hear nothing...
I scrub the notes... and I hear the notes!!!
Anyone could tell me what am I doing wrong??

First off never scrub the notes, just hose 'um down in the yard!
a little bit more info, might help. Whst synth are you using?
HP Win 11 12 gig ram, Mac mini with 16 gig of ram, BiaB 2025, Realband, Reaper 7, Harrison Mixbus 9 32c , Melodyne 5 editor, Presonus Audiobox 1818VSL, Presonus control app.

What version of RB?
Sounds like a driver or routing issue to me.
Is the 'Reroute MIDI to softsynth' box checked (enabled)?
That's in MIDI devices area.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

I use the Latest version RB 2013
Yes the re-route to Coyote is enabled. If I load a BIAB song or a midifile, all tracks are heard perfectly
But if I step record a track, I do not hear it although it can be heard only when scrubbing notes in the score window.
The plot thickens...

I normally step record in the notation window and Real Band automatically unmutes the track.
However, when I used the Piano Roll window as you described in your initial post I couldn't hear anything on playback either, even switching to notation. After puzzling over it for a while I noticed that the track was still muted. I unmuted the track manually and it played back fine.
