Has anyone compared Sounclick to Soundcloud regarding things like community, exposure, ease of use? I usually do youtube with added video ( for example,latest = Oh Me Oh My I-65 Take Me to Nashville Tennessee = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHEV678TsTU posted in Showcase forum). But, I am wondering about which site others like for posted songs sans video. Thanks for your insight. -Patrick

I usually just link to my website but of late I am thinking Youtube is soooo easy to use I will stay there for awhile. I have never used either of the two aforementioned sites but see lots of fellow forum members are using both with a great deal of success.

Most of the software companies Presonus and PG are using sound cloud as the preferred built in medium, I think this speaks volumes and answers the question.

I agree, over Christmas I was looking at all kinds of music software and while not all of them have an online link the ones that did use Soundcloud.

Pat,
Thanks for the comment and link to toonboom. I used Smith Micro's Anime Studio Pro 8 along w/ cyber link power director to splice the separate sections together and insert the tune ( Tune used Realband and then SonarX1 to add live parts and mix down). Toon Boom looks great, and that's an understatement based on the feature list i just read. but for now the Anime Pro is working well and I have hardly scratched the surface in regards to it's features. My next software upgrade with probably be on the music side (latest BIAB).
Thanks also to all who put in your thoughts regarding Click vs. Cloud. The cloud is getting a lot of good press on this one.
