I must say, I'm new to BIAB and it is amazing for creating and accompaniment and it's helping my playing, but using Notation to create a "fakesheet" is among the most frustrating times I've ever had with a computer.
MADDENING.
It makes notes I don't want (well into the next measure or two), it won't let me create triplets without moving the earlier notes in the triplet, it's often difficult to click on a note to open it's details (Notation wants to add another note instead, unless the cursor is on EXACTLY the right pixel), and to play voice-leading on guitar I want to put it an octave higher and the TAB notation insists on putting the melody on the 4-5-6 strings. And I can't figure out how to make it do what I want.
AWFUL. Needs a lot of work.
And I second the notion that others have posted that the 1990 interface really needs an update.

And I must add that the lyrics addition is nearly impossible with either the bar lyrics or note-by-note. Note by note seems to do better, but for slow blues the font is too large to fit "short" notes and the bar acts VERY weird and wants to "advance" from the area I'm typing back to the front of the bar area and the text there can't be selected....bizarre. Major bug.
I will resort to writing lyrics by hand, but that of course doesn't save them for later printing.
YET ANOTHER ADDENDUM: On the note options window, sometimes drop downs menus (e.g., accidentals) don't display, and trying to get the notation options tweaked it totally re-did 90 minutes worth of work.
This section is infested with bugs. It might be fine in Windows, but the Mac version is nasty with bugs. You would have been better off leaving the Notation part out - it really mars an otherwise nice product.
